March empties - short & sweet

Apr 3, 2012 Beauty Bits 12 Comments

Well the blue basket only contains five empties this month, three of which are shampoos! Each month I state I’ll do better and each month I use up less and less. I reckon April will be a bumper month though as I’ve got quite a few products that are just about finished. So on with the show from left to right….

Aussie Mega Shampoo – I usually buy this when it’s on sale and when I want to change up my hair products. I love the smell and does nice things to my hair.

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo – I’m sure I bought this travel size to travel with but as I usually go away for 2 weeks or more these little bottles never get used up because I end up bringing full size. And to be fair I don’t go away that often so I’m trying to get through all these little tubes and bottles too.

Kyoku for Men Lava Mask – This is a fabulous mask and I’ve bought it a few times now. It’s like putting a cooling cement on your face and it absorbs loads of grease and grime.

Garnier Body Tonic Sugar Scrub – I’ve reviewed this before; it’s great for scrubbing on the run when you don’t want to mess around with tubs, smells like a G&T and is usually on offer at Superdrug or Boots.

Cattier Paris Rosemary Vinegar Shampoo – I did an epic review on this back in December. I got this in Paris in November and I’ve tried to make it last as long as possible. If you have greasy hair you need this shampoo!

So not only did I not finish very much I also broke my spending ban! I had a such a rubbish last few weeks and I needed some retail therapy. This came in the form of new a new body scrub from Body Shop and some face scrubs from Billy Jealousy. Exfoliation always soothes my jangled nerves!

Hope your project 10 pan/project bathroom is going better than mine…

It’s awesome Gio! They also make a French Clay shampoo for greasy hair too – if you can find it in Italy you should buy it!

Ahh no, not the spending ban! At least you are sure to empty the new goodies though – you are the queen of scrubs & soaps emptying!

I LOVE Aussie products, they smell gorgeous and they make my hair smell pretty…which can be a bad thing as I do get funny looks when I’m caught sniffing my hair at my desk – oops! :P

I really need to put myself on a spending ban….it never happens though :( xx

Argh.. I too am on a Project 10 Pan but holy spaghetti is it hard! I haven’t used up a single thing and my wish list is growing.. I have to step it up! You’re inspiring.. how do you do it?! All I can say is that my face wash is half gone, but it’s really the body butters and stuff I have to use up. T_T

Garden Jeanie!!!!! Well as you can see last month was abysmal but keep in mind hubby also uses a lot of my stuff like shower gels, face scrubs, face wash, and face masks. I’ve taught him well.

I struggle with body lotions/body butters too. I buy stuff because it smells nice, use it a few times and then it sits in the pile with the rest of them. I’ve decided that I’m going to start using more body oils……. let’s see how that goes! :D
