Canadian beauty brand Cake has been around for some time now and it’s creator Heather Reier started her business much in the same way as my goddess of exfoliation Sara Happ – messing about in her kitchen to come up with these gorgeous bath and body goodies…..
Milk Made Soothing Hand and Cuticle Buffer with grapeseed and avocado oils $18.00 (CAD)
Sweet Cheeks Better Bod Rub infused with cinnamon and vanilla $34 (CAD)
Limited edition Strawberry Shortcake Decadent Bath & Shower Suds $22.00 (CAD) *available in Canada only*
Sinfully Smooth Citrus Squeeze Scrub with olive oil and cocoa butter $32.00 (CAD)
So how can I get my hands on some? This is my moan about Cake Beauty – it doesn’t seem to have much representation in the UK. According to the Cake website there are a few shops that sell it here in Old Blighty but I’m guessing they are boutiques that don’t carry the entire range. I tried a few of the phone numbers of the shops that were published on the website, one of which was in Nottinghamshire and the number was disconnected. Doh! I feel it’s my duty to drop Cake Beauty an email to tell them to update their site. I’m sure I’ve seen Cake Beauty stuff at my local TK Maxx but I could have been willfully hallucinating, so my mission this week is to find out where I can me a slice of this beauty booty!
