There are very few products that make it on to my repurchased list. I am forever switching brands, formulas and scents…What can I say, I am a product junkie! Lush appears on my list of course and a few higher end bits. I did however sit and work out that Aveeno Moisturising creamy oil in Sweet Almond is THE most repurchased product that I own and I must of bought 5 bottles of the stuff so far.
The first thing that I want to talk about first is the smell. It is absolutely, positively scrummy!
If you don’t like foodie smells I am not too sure that you would fall in love with this as it smells like marzipan. It is what I expected L’Occitane’s Almond shower oil to smell like. I would love to just carry this bottle around with me and take massive sniffs all day, but as that would be rather odd it is lucky that the lotion still lightly scents your skin. Not enough to interfere with your perfume but enough to give your skin sniffability (I know that is not a word but I’m going with it!)
The formulation is a light, non greasy lotion that sinks into the skin in record time. Don’t worry though it doesn’t mean that you will be whipping out lizard pins when it’s time to bare some skin. At this point the inclusion of oil becomes apparent. If your skin is on the dryer side I would still say to try it as it is said to prevent dry skin…Bonus!
I am sitting sniffing this as I am writing, I definitely need to pick up more because I am on rations at the moment and I cannot be without this in my life. You can find this at most chemists and beauty stockists and the price ranges between £6-£7, A lot cheaper than L’Occitane!
